Job summary

Fitesa is seeking an Erema/Reclaim Machine Operator in Simpsonville, SC to operate the Erema recycle machine, reclaim scrap material, and ensure production meets quality standards. The role requires basic manufacturing experience and strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.

Shift is 7:45pm–8am on a 2/2/3 schedule with competitive pay and benefits starting day one. Join a team focused on safe, efficient processing in a non-climate-controlled plant environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of machine operator, warehouse, or manufacturing experience.
• Troubleshooting skills and good mechanical abilities.
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office.
• Experience with databases and tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Set Up Erema to process standards and centerlines.
• Perform Erema set up, start up, and shut down.
• Manage operation of the Erema manufacturing equipment.
• Ensure the side feed is always fully stocked and tied in.
• Manage the flow of material into and out of the Erema area.
• Accurately and fully complete all production reports.
• Track all production and enter database.
• Ensure product is properly labeled.
• Ensure quality standards are met.
• Communicate problems and issues to appropriate resources in a timely manner.
• Assist in down day activities per team leader instructions.
• Ensure finished pellets meet specifications defined in Operations Documents.
• Operate equipment within the specified limits of the appropriate Standard Operating Conditions.
• Assist other team members and in other production areas needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
