Ace Hardware of Independence is seeking a Receiving Associate to join our friendly, community-focused team. You will handle incoming goods, inspect shipments, operate forklifts, and log invoices, helping keep the receiving area orderly and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect all incoming products to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Operate machinery safely, including forklifts, to manage inventory efficiently.
• Verify product shipments against packing slips and confirm product integrity.
• Process, code, and log invoices accurately and distribute them to relevant departments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the receiving area, loading dock, and trash zones.
• Handles all Sharpening, Screen, Assembly Services, Special Orders and Building Grills.
• Delivers or coordinates deliveries in a timely manner.
• Must have a valid Drivers License with a clean driving record.
• Support team efforts to amaze every customer every time by upholding Ace Hardware’s core values.
