Responsabilidades

• Receives market, gift, kitchen, and Farm Grown products and general merchandise, ensuring accurate quantities and proper code dates and temperatures.
• Works with Receiving Supervisor on damaged products, returns, invoice shortages, overages, credits, and inter-department transfers.
• Maintains back room, basement, loading dock, and receiving area cleanliness and organization.
• Implements and prioritizes incoming product under direction of Receiving Supervisor.
• Collaborates with all departments to ensure timely flow of product from door to floor.

Temporary-PT/FT Nantucket, MA, US

Salary Range: $22.00 To $24.00 Hourly

The Receiver is a non-exempt seasonal position responsible for assisting in management of inventory operation and ensuring customer satisfaction in conformance with established Farm policies, strategies, and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities: Performs any functions necessary, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of customer service and responsiveness to the needs of individuals, families, businesses, and organizations served by the Farm.

• Responsible for receiving market, gift, kitchen, and Farm Grown products, and all general merchandise, including, but not limited to UPS, FedEX, and USPS. Uses appropriate receiving software and equipment to maintain accuracy of quantity and overall quality of product being received. Ensures that all product received is within appropriate code date and temperature range.
• In coordination with the Receiving Supervisor, responsible for following proper procedure as it pertains to damaged product, returns, invoice shortages, overages, credits and inter-departmental transfers.
• Secures and maintains back room and basement integrity. Maintains overall cleanliness and organization of loading dock, basement and receiving area.
• Implements, expedites and prioritizes incoming product, under the direction of the Receiving Supervisor.
• Works in cooperation with all departments to ensure timely and efficient flow of product from door to floor.
