Job summary

Nicholas & Company Inc. is seeking a detail‑oriented Receiver to join our Salt Lake City warehouse. This entry‑level, full‑time role focuses on receiving, inspecting, and organizing goods to ensure accuracy and timely processing.

You will count inventory, unload shipments, verify items against orders, and enter data into the inventory system, collaborating with purchasing and vendor teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Receiver

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to build a career with our Warehouse team as a Receiver. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the inventory counting processes and perform periodic inventory audits.
• Receive and unload incoming shipments, inspecting for damages and discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate closely with the purchasing team to resolve any issues or discrepancies with received items.
• Verify the quantity and quality of items received, ensuring accuracy in comparison to purchase orders, and packing list.
• Organize and stage received merchandise in appropriate storage areas, ensuring proper placement and accessibility.
• Inspect and identify any defects or damages in received items, notifying the appropriate team members for further action.

Required:
