• Assist with arrival/dismissal and transitions as assigned by administration.

Epiphany Catholic School is seeking a caring, reliable, and faith-filled individual to serve as a Recess Monitor / Student Services Assistant. This role supports the safety, well-being, and positive formation of our students during recess and other non-classroom times while contributing to the overall smooth functioning of the school day.The ideal candidate will build warm relationships with children and help create a joyful, ordered, and respectful environment consistent with our Catholic mission.

Primary Responsibilities

• Supervise students during recess and other assigned periods to ensure safety and appropriate behavior.
• Actively monitor the playground, hallways, and other designated areas.
• Encourage positive peer interactions, fair play, inclusion, and conflict resolution.
• Respond promptly and calmly to minor injuries, behavioral concerns, or student needs; escalates more serious situations to appropriate staff.
• Support student services by assisting with arrival/dismissal, transitions, and other duties as assigned by administration.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in supervised areas.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with teachers, staff, and administration regarding student observations or needs.
• Uphold and reinforce school expectations, rules, and Catholic values in all interactions with students.
