Job summary

The Church of the Epiphany is seeking a caring Recess Monitor / Student Services Assistant to support safety, well-being, and positive formation of students during recess and other non-classroom times. This role contributes to the smooth functioning of the school day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to monitor students and enforce safety rules.
• Strong communication with staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during recess to ensure safety and appropriate behavior.
• Monitor playgrounds, hallways, and designated areas.
• Encourage positive peer interactions and fair play.
• Respond to minor injuries or needs and escalate when necessary.
• Assist with arrival/dismissal and transitions as assigned by administration.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming supervised environment.
• Communicate observations with teachers and staff.
• Uphold school expectations and Catholic values.
