Qualifications

  • Previous receptionist, administrative, hospitality, customer service, or senior living experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Basic clerical and computer skills including typing and filing.
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy environment.
  • Compassionate and resident-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Professional appearance and positive demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Greet residents, families, visitors, and prospective residents warmly and professionally.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Provide information, assistance, and referrals as appropriate.
  • Support daily administrative and clerical functions including filing, typing, and light bookkeeping.
  • Assist with maintaining organized front desk and office areas.
  • Communicate effectively with all departments and leadership teams.

Position Summary

The Receptionist is responsible for greeting residents, families, visitors, prospective residents, and associates in a warm, professional, and service-oriented manner while serving as the communication hub of the community.

This role provides administrative and clerical support while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and positive experience for everyone entering or contacting the community.
