Job summary

Charter Senior Living of Fredericksburg is seeking a part-time Receptionist to greet residents, visitors and staff with a warm, service-oriented approach. The role emphasizes clear communication, basic clerical tasks, and assisting with information referrals.

Shifts are Saturdays and Sundays 2 pm–8 pm, with weekday coverage as needed and holiday availability. The ideal candidate has assisted living experience and a willingness to engage with residents in a caring, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic clerical skills: typing, filing, light bookkeeping.
• Experience in assisted living environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide information and referrals to residents, visitors, staff and prospects in a positive, service-oriented manner.
• Handle light clerical duties and maintain a pleasant, respectful environment for elderly residents.

Part-Time Receptionist

Saturdays and Sundays from 2 pm to 8 pm

Our ideal candidate will be able and willing to work Saturdays and Sundays consistently and also be available to cover weekday shifts as needed. Holidays are a must as well. Please only apply if you are able to work these hours.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The receptionist is responsible for providing information and referral to residents, visitors, staff, and prospective clients in a positive, service-oriented manner. The Receptionist must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. He/she must possess basic clerical skills; typing, filing, light bookkeeping and be able to work in an environment with multiple interruptions. The position requires a pleasant nature and a

willingness and desire to work with the elderly.
