Job summary

Gulfport Behavioral Health System (a UHS facility) is seeking a part-time Receptionist to greet visitors, manage a multi-line switchboard, and support clerical tasks in a hospital environment. Weekend shifts are 9am–9pm on Saturdays and Sundays. High school diploma preferred; 2 years of switchboard experience preferred.

Responsibilities include handling deliveries, mail, deposits, and assisting with admissions paperwork as needed. UHS offers career development and comprehensive benefits.

Position Summary:

Join a team where the Receptionist greets and assists hospital visitors, answers the multi-line switchboard, documents incoming deliveries, processes incoming and outgoing mail and provides clerical support as requested. The Receptionist may assist with deposits, assists with various clerical duties and projects as assigned, and may assist with completing appropriate paperwork for new admissions. This is a PT position (with benefits) Saturday and Sunday from 9a-9p every weekend.

Qualifications

Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Experience: Two(2) years’ experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a heath care environment and any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment.
