Atlantic-Medical-Imaging in New Jersey seeks a Part Time Receptionist-Technical Aide to support our north region offices in Brick, Wall, Toms River, and Manahawkin. This 20+ hour per week role includes PTO, paid holidays, and a 401k with profit sharing.

You will warmly greet patients, manage calls, schedule appointments, and assist technologists with patient prep and transport. Responsibilities also cover chart preparation, data entry, and room maintenance to uphold infection control and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• AHA or Red Cross BLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• Previous experience in a radiology practice or medical office preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors promptly in a courteous, professional manner.
• Answer incoming calls and route to appropriate party.
• Schedule appointments and input information into the system.
• Prepare charts and register patients; take patient history and basic paperwork.
• Assist technologists with patient prep, positioning, and wheelchair transport.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging suites and equipment.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are met; perform general clerical duties.

AMI is seeking a Part Time Receptionist-Technical Aide to join the teams in the north region of offices in Brick, Wall, Toms River, and Manahawkin! This position is a great opportunity to join a growing outpatient Radiology practice.Part time, 20+ hour per week positions at AMI are eligible for Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays, 401k & Profit Sharing. Health benefits are not currently extended with part time positions. Offered rates increase based on years of work experience.The Receptionist-Technical Aide is responsible for but not limited to:Greets patients and visitors promptly upon arrival in a courteous, compassionate, and professional manner, escorting patients to the changing area and providing gown instructions as needed.Answers incoming telephone calls, makes satisfactory disposition of the calls or transfers to appropriate party.Maintains surveillance of all patients and visitors in the waiting area.Schedules appointments, obtains necessary information to input computer data.Performs clerical functions necessary to process and maintain all records associated with the Practice, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Prepares charts and registers patients.Takes patient history and processes paperwork.Monitors the patient in the clinical area when the technologist is elsewhere.Assist technologists with patient preparation, positioning, and wheelchair transport to ensure timely and safe imaging procedures.Assists patients with wheelchairs and dressing as needed.Prepare imaging rooms between patients, ensuring infection control and safety standards are met.Maintain cleanliness and organization of AMI suites, including equipment and supply areas.Performs other duties as assigned.The Part time, 20 hour per week position includes the following work schedule:Monday, 6:30am-5pmTuesday, 7am-5:30pmCoverage will be provided in the AMI offices in Toms River (Hooper Avenue & Route 37 West), Brick, Wall, and Manahawkin. Candidates must have reliable transportation and comfortable commuting to these offices.Schedules and locations are subject to change based on business and department needs.Candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. An American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days following the start of employment. Previous experience in a Radiology practice, medical office or hospital is strongly preferred. Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with standard office equipment is required.Qualified candidates demonstrate excellent customer service practices and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
