Hospital for Behavioral Medicine in Worcester, MA is seeking a Per Diem Receptionist to greet visitors, answer the switchboard, process mail, and support Admissions and administrative tasks across weekday and weekend shifts.

The role requires a high school graduate and at least two years of multi-line telephone experience in a healthcare setting; strong clerical skills and reliability are essential to maintain coverage. Per diem compensation is $25.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist all visitors and ensure visitor sign-in and passes.

• Process incoming/outgoing mail and prepare deposits and statements.
• Maintain receptionist schedule and coordinate coverage for shifts.
• Assist with admissions paperwork during after-hours shifts when assigned.

JOIN OUR TEAM AS A RECEPTIONIST!Per DiemWeekday and weekend availability!Days/Evenings!Your Work Matters How will you make a difference?The Receptionist is responsible for greeting and assisting all visitors, answering the switchboard, documenting incoming deliveries, processing incoming and outgoing mail and providing clerical support as requested. In addition, the Receptionist prepares weekday deposits, prepares monthly statements for mailing, assists with various clerical duties and projects as assigned, and may assist with completing appropriate paperwork for new admissions during after-hours shifts if assigned as well as maintain the Receptionist schedule and serve as back up as needed.Follow the facility guest relations program when greeting and assisting all visitors, ensuring all visitors sign the visitor log and obtain a visitor pass.Answer and disseminate all incoming calls on the switchboard in a professional and courteous manner within three rings.Utilize the paging system to announce callers as required.Collate admission folder as required.Keypunch revised patient data as required.Complete administrative duties foe the Admissions department as required.Process all outgoing and incoming mail.Maintain schedule for the receptionists.
