Job summary

Rydell Auto Center in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Part Time Receptionist with excellent customer service skills to greet customers and direct them to the appropriate destination. The role also entails basic office tasks to support Sales and Office departments.

Schedule: 2–3 days per week with Monday 2pm-7pm, Tue-Fri 2pm-6pm, every other Saturday 8am-5pm. Pay is $17/hour. This position supports a professional, friendly, and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is a plus.
• Availability for 2–3 days per week, including some weeknights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers and direct them to the correct department.
• Handle customer inquiries and relay information to appropriate staff.
• Answer phones and assist with clerical tasks as needed.
• Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor with customers and colleagues.
• Support Sales and Office teams with routine administrative duties.
• Familiarize yourself with department structures and internal procedures.

Schedule/Pay

• Work 2-3 Days per week
• Mondays: 2pm-7pm, Tuesday-Friday: 2pm-6pm, and every other Saturday, 8a-5p
• Pay is $17/hour

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and direct consumer to the proper department and follow up in a timely manner
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution
• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold
• Assist the managers with various clerical duties as needed
• Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient when working with all customers and employees
• Familiarize yourself with department structures & internal procedures for assisting customers efficiently

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office suite is a plus
• Available to work flexible hours on weeknights & weekends
• Ability to communicate customers' interests needs and requests to management and sales personnel
