Job description

Responsible to greet visitors, answer phones, sort and distribute mail, and maintain the lobby area. Supports HR and accounting functions. Serves as the first impression of Magleby Construction, as such, professional appearance, demeanor and standards are a must.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Greet visitors, answer phones, sort and distribute mail
  • Maintain clean and presentable main lobby and office area
  • Maintenance of the conference room and training room calendar schedules
  • Order and inventory office supplies
  • Vendor compliance outreach and tracking
  • Assisting our fleet manager with vehicle logs, registrations and tracking
  • Compiling and tracking safety related data
  • Distribution and tracking of recreational passes
  • Office management functions
  • Updating and maintaining Employee boards
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist HR and accounting
  • Any other tasks assigned
Education / Experience Requirements
  • 2+ years receptionist experience
  • Experience in Construction industry a plus

  • Detail oriented
  • Able to prioritize and manage time
  • Friendly and professional in actions and appearance
  • Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook

The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud.

Works from a normal office setting; however, performs a significant amount of work in all spaces within the facility. May need to work outside in all types of weather or in all kinds of work environments.

May be exposed to extremes of heat and cold as well as certain unsafe environments; occasionally works near moving equipment and mechanical parts, heavy machinery, lasers, powder‑activated tools, and electrical equipment; possible exposure to fumes or airborne particles; possible exposure to internal liquids. This is a safety sensitive position where a momentary lapse of attention can result in serious injury or death. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally very loud. Must follow all safety requirements carefully.
