Job summary

Stribling Equipment, LLC, one of the region's leading John Deere dealers, seeks a friendly Receptionist to greet visitors, answer calls, and support the Parts Department.

This full-time role requires professional appearance, strong communication, and basic office software skills; training and advancement opportunities are provided in a safety-conscious, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of clerical/administrative experience or training.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver License with clean MVR.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic web programs.

Responsibilities

• Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen and forward calls; provide information, and take messages for Stribling Equipment.
• Greet customers and guests entering the facility, determine the visit purpose, and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
• Provide information about the facility such as location of departments, offices, or employees within the organization, and services provided.
• Daily log of mail distribution.
• Daily log of Guests and/or Staff entering and exiting the branch.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Receptionist is responsible for providing secretarial support services as designated; responsible for incoming telephone calls, greeting visitors and directing customers to the appropriate department as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen and forward calls; provide information, and take messages for Stribling Equipment.
• Greet customers and guests entering the facility, determine the nature and purpose of the visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
• Provide information about the facility such as location of departments, offices, or employees within the organization, and services provided.
• Daily Log of mail distribution
• Daily Log of Guests and/or Staff entering and exiting the branch
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of professional experience and/or training in clerical/administrative duties; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver License with clean MVR
• Highly proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel) and web-programs
• Professional appearance and courteous attitude
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and professionalism
• Able to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
