The role runs 11:30a–9p, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend coverage and rotating holidays. Eligible candidates typically hold a High School diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience.

The Receptionist for the J3 patient waiting lounge serves as the primary point of contact for families and visitors supporting the Coronary ICU, Heart Failure ICU, and Cardiac Short Stay units. This role is responsible for welcoming guests, coordinating and facilitating visitation, and escorting family members to patient care areas in accordance with unit guidelines. They also communicate directly with clinical units by phone to coordinate visits and relay any concerns or updates to the nursing coordinator team.
