The New York City Human Resources Administration (HRA) provides social services and economic assistance to individuals and families to promote self-sufficiency through programs such as: Cash Assistance, SNAP, childcare, eviction prevention, adult protective services, job training, employment support, domestic violence assistance, and child support enforcement. The Employment & Support Services Administration- Career Services offers unique services to eligible New Yorkers to help achieve long-term self-sufficiency.
Business Link, a division of HRA, connects employers with jobseekers, provides free job placement services, hosts job fairs, maintains a job seeker repository, and offers alerts through its TEXT2Work program. It works closely with the community and employers to fill job orders and provide subsidized training for low-income individuals and Cash Assistance recipients.
The Career Services is recruiting for one (1) Clerical Associate II position as a Receptionist/Data Entry Clerk.
Correct Salary Range: $36,971 - $42,517
Work Location: 123 William Street, New York, NY 10038
Hours/Schedule: Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM (Flex)
Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, plus one year of clerical experience.
Skills: Keyboard proficiency with a minimum of 100 keystrokes per minute.
