This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the top law firms in the U.S.! Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is seeking a Receptionist/Concierge for our New York office.

This essential position requires five days in-office and combines traditional receptionist duties with personalized concierge services. The Receptionist/Concierge will be the first point of contact for attorneys, clients, and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience. Responsibilities include answering calls, greeting visitors, assisting with administrative tasks, coordinating events, and providing exceptional customer service.

Typical daily responsibilities include:
  • Answering and screening calls promptly and professionally; managing messages and voicemail transfers
  • Greeting clients, notifying attorneys of arrivals, and escorting visitors as needed
  • Assisting visitors, managing security system entries, and coordinating office schedules
  • Communicating with staff regarding inquiries and requests, such as catering and conference room bookings
  • Handling client documents, serving as a concierge for visitors, and maintaining conference room schedules
  • Coordinating events, catering, and special requests, including A/V needs and security access
  • Ordering building access badges, reporting facilities issues, and maintaining office directories
  • Presenting a professional image aligned with the firm's client service culture
  • Performing other clerical tasks as needed
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years' experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant in a professional environment; multi-line phone system experience preferred
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal, grammar, and proofreading skills
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality, flexibility to change schedules if needed
  • Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Willingness to learn new programs and adapt quickly
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Team-oriented, calm under pressure, and customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to sit for extended periods with breaks

The annual salary range for this role in New York City is $58,000 to $65,000, with actual pay based on experience. Full-time employees are eligible for bonuses, insurance, flexible spending accounts, and other benefits.
