Beloit Health System is looking to add a Front Desk Receptionist to our Team!
Shift: 1st & 2nd
Schedule: Hours between 6a - 8p (shifts up to 8 hours/day)
Hours per week: Varied - Per Diem

The Front Desk Receptionist greets and directs patients and visitors in a professional manner in order to leave them with a positive impression of Beloit Health System. Also performs various clerical duties.
- Answers phone by fourth ring.
- Greets visitors and callers, provides information requested.
- Updates patient room changes and phone changes by calling admission office.
- Runs daily pastor list.
- Posts meeting information (evening shift only).
- Manages escorts to ensure patient deliveries are completed in a timely fashion.
- Insures that front desk phone coverage is maintained on off hours. (i.e. transfer to switchboard).
- Insures scheduling and smooth operation of the valet service.
- Documents and forwards all information needed by receptionist on next shift.
- Flexible in working hours if needed.
- Confidentiality is a must!
- Completes extra projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Excellent phone skills and pleasant speaking voice.
- Ability to assess communicated needs and respond appropriately.
- Ability to effectively interact with the public.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must adhere to established hospital and Community Relations department policies, rules and regulations.
- Maintain ethical conduct and keep confidential personal and medical information about patients.
- Ability to speak clearly and distinctly and to interact positively with the public.
- Ability to do basic computer work.
- Pleasant smile and professional appearance, i.e. attire.
- Must be very flexible in working hours.
- Able to work holidays when needed.
- Able to work different shifts
- Weekdays 7am - 8pm (2 shifts)
- Weekends 8am - 8pm (2 shifts
