• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system.
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers.
• Make change accurately and issue receipts.
• Answer phones and direct consumers to the proper department.
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically.
• File repair orders and parts tickets.
• Assist managers with various clerical duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers
• Answer phones and direct consumer to the proper department and follow up in a timely manner
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution
• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold
• Filing of repair orders and parts tickets
• End of day cash out
• Assist the managers with various clerical duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Microsoft Office suite is a plus
• Available to Monday through Friday 7:30-4:00
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Positive attitude
• Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug test to employment
