Job summary

Senior Resource Group is seeking a friendly Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our community. You will monitor entry security, assist residents, greet visitors and answer phones.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, strong communication, and the ability to manage office tasks such as mailing, copies, and notary services. This position offers weekend rotation every other weekend.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in front-desk or receptionist role preferred.
• Strong communication and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet all visitors in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Screen and sign-in visitors at the reception desk.
• Answer all incoming calls and route messages.
• Assist residents with general office needs (postage, copies, faxes, notary).
• Maintain inventory of office supplies and update contact information.
• Provide professional and efficient receptionist support to the community.

Job Description

An outgoing personality and a pleasant, happy demeanor are key for this fun and rewarding position. You will serve as an essential representative of the community. As our Receptionist, you will monitor entry security, assist residents, greet visitors and answers phones.

Essential Duties

• Greet all visitors in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
• Screen and require visitors to "sign-in" at reception desk.
• Answer all incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner. Routes telephone calls and takes messages, as appropriate.
• Assist residents with general office needs, i.e. postage, copies, faxes, notary public, etc.
• Type, copy, order and maintain inventory of office supplies.
• Maintain and update emergency contact information.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED (General Educational Development); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
