Job summary

The Community Service Board of Middle Georgia seeks a Receptionist for our Burke County Outpatient Clinic in Dublin, GA. The role demands strong customer service, front-desk organization, and the ability to multi-task in a busy, multi-team environment.

Responsibilities include scheduling follow-ups, answering phones, processing referrals and documentation, and providing backup support to therapists. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication and Microsoft 365 skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate follow-up appointments with the MD/NP and ensure labs, evaluations, and referrals are scheduled.
• Serve as Treatment Engagement Specialist by orienting individuals to services, completing consents, scheduling initial appointments, and completing/billing GIRPP notes.
• Answer phone calls, take messages, and route calls appropriately.
• Monitor authorizations and treatment plan expiration dates and ensure updates are completed before appointments.
• Assist with scanning and other duties as needed.
• Provide backup for therapist scheduling and Treatment Engagement staff.
• Maintain discharge follow-up scheduling spreadsheet and update PMR forms when individuals attend appointments.
• Communicate professionally with individuals and coworkers.
• Accept responsibility and respond to supervisor direction.

LOCATION: Dublin, Georgia

The Community Service Board of Middle Georgia is seeking a qualified individual to serve as our next Receptionist for our Burke County Outpatient Clinic! The selected candidate will be a professional individual who has strong communication skills and provides exceptional customer service. This is a very busy environment and requires superior organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritize daily activities.

Responsibilities of the Receptionist:

• Coordinate follow-up appointments with the MD/NP and ensure ordered labs, psychological evaluations, and referrals are scheduled. Document follow-up efforts as nonbillable.
• Serve as Treatment Engagement Specialist by orienting individuals to services, completing consents, scheduling initial appointments, and completing/billing GIRPP notes
• Answer phone calls, take messages, and route calls appropriately.
• Monitor authorizations and treatment plan expiration dates and ensure updates are completed before MD/NP appointments.
• Assist with scanning and other duties as needed.
• Provide backup for therapist scheduling and Treatment Engagement staff.
• Maintain the CSU discharge follow-up scheduling spreadsheet and update PMR forms when individuals attend appointments.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with individuals and coworkers.
• Accept responsibility, follow supervisor direction, and respond appropriately to feedback
• All other duties as assigned
