Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking a part-time front desk/guest services teammate to welcome residents and visitors, respond to inquiries, and provide personalized recommendations while upholding Otterbein policies.

The role emphasizes hospitality, professionalism, and accurate assessment of needs, with responsibilities spanning in-person and phone interactions and file maintenance.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year.
• Ability to be self-directed and prioritize tasks, working independently and managing time efficiently.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering and leaving the community, using customer name whenever possible.
• Answer customer calls and direct them appropriately.
• Handle all customer interactions with hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests when possible.
• Maintain current file/listing of residents by name and location, emergency contacts, department extensions.

Job description

Welcomes customers on the phone and in person and responds to a wide variety of requests by accurately assessing the customer’s needs and requests; and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Otterbein policies.

Part-time: 8:30a - 6:30p every other weekend

• Greet customers entering and leaving the community, using customer name whenever possible
• Answer customer calls and direct them appropriately
• Handle all customer interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
• Maintain current file/listing of residents by name and location, emergency phone numbers of on-call personnel, department extensions
