Masters Academy International

Masters Academy International (MAI) is New England's only school that intentionally integrates professional-level athletics with top-tier academics to prepare future leaders who excel in sport, scholarship, and life. For many of our students, MAI is not simply a school; it is home.

Our residential program is central to our mission. Boarding at MAI must reflect the same standard of excellence that defines our academic and athletic programs-structured, nurturing, disciplined, joyful, and deeply aligned with our values. Students who live on campus entrust us with their safety, well-being, and development during these formative years. That trust demands leadership of the highest caliber.

About the Role

The Receptionist is the primary front-facing ambassador for Masters Academy International, serving as the warm, welcoming, and professional voice and face of the school. This role is directly responsible for creating an exceptional first impression for students, families, faculty, visiting dignitaries, and community partners.

Beyond hospitality, the Receptionist serves as a critical hub for campus safety, visitor management, incoming communication routing, and general administrative support across campus operations.

  • Warmly greet all arriving students, families, visitors, external vendors, and prospective community members, ensuring a secure, organized, and hospitable reception area.
  • Manage visitor sign-in/sign-out procedures, issue security badges, and maintain continuous awareness of campus access in strict alignment with school safety protocols.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for campus inquiries, answering and routing incoming phone calls and emails promptly, professionally, and with exceptional care.
  • Work closely with the Admissions team to welcome prospective students and families, coordinate visitor arrivals and check-in, and help ensure campus visits, tours, and admissions events run smoothly.

  • Monitor main office supply inventory, track orders, and restock office essentials as needed.
  • Support logistics for school-wide events, open houses, parent-teacher conferences, and community gatherings, including scheduling meeting rooms and greeting guests.

Thriving in a dynamic front-desk environment, you seamlessly balance high-volume administrative tasks with warmth, composure, and razor-sharp attention to detail. You handle sensitive student, family, and staff information with absolute confidentiality and strict adherence to safeguarding standards, while leveraging office systems-from Google Workspace to digital visitor logs-to keep operations running smoothly.
