As the first point of contact for visitors, residents, families, and staff, the receptionist plays an important role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment while assisting with daily administrative operations.
Greet and assist visitors, residents, and family members in a warm and professional manner
Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
Maintain the front desk area to ensure a welcoming and organized environment
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and data entry
Communicate messages accurately to staff and departments
Monitor visitor sign-in procedures and follow facility security protocols
Provide general information and assistance to residents and families as needed
Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred
Experience in healthcare or a long-term care setting is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
