Job summary

Mission Pet Health in Seattle, WA is seeking a friendly Receptionist who will be the first point of contact for clients and their pets. You will manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with warmth, and ensure each interaction reflects compassionate care while maintaining accurate records.

You will coordinate care by managing appointments, processing payments, and supporting the veterinary team's daily workflow.

Qualifications

  • Front desk duties including greeting clients and managing a multi-line phone system.
  • Accurate medical records and scheduling experience preferred.
  • Ability to handle financial transactions and provide compassionate client support.
  • Flexible schedule including some weekends and holidays.

  • Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, ensure interaction reflects our compassionate care.
  • Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions.
  • Advocate for Pet Health: educate clients on preventive care and other hospital services to ensure every pet receives the best care.
  • Embody Compassion: be a calming presence for clients, showing empathy and respect in every situation.

Your Impact as a Receptionist

What You'll Bring to the Team
  • A passion for providing excellent customer service and a genuine love for animals.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative, team-first mindset and the ability to work both independently and with direction.
  • Experience with veterinary software is preferred. A flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays, is required.
  • The pay range for this position is $21.80-$23 per hour based on experience.
