Description
This is a support staff position acting as receptionist for the Center, answering telephone calls, taking messages for staff, greeting, and assisting consumers and members of the public in communication with agency staff. This position schedules appointments, gathers client information, assists in maintaining medical records, conducts general word processing, copying, filing, transports records between buildings, and general clerical duties.
This position provides first contact between the public, potential clients, and the center. Appropriate business attire and appearance is expected. Communication with all contacts is to be maintained in a business professional manner that conveys kindness, respect, and helpfulness.
Staff will meet competency expectations, including integration of evidence-based practices and completing required certifications which will be conducted in all the following manners, but not limited to, in-person training, online training, webinars, seminars, workshops, and self-directed training. All training, certifications, and competencies will be documented by completion certificates when available and maintained by the Human Resources Department.
