Take on a vital role with our client in Mount Laurel, NJ, as a Medical Receptionist, providing front-desk support in a busy medical office. This full-time position focuses on patient scheduling, insurance verification, and administrative coordination to ensure efficient operations and an excellent patient experience. As the first point of contact, you will streamline office workflows and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities as the Medical Receptionist:

  • Patient Coordination & Scheduling: Manage appointment scheduling, check-ins, and check-outs to optimize patient flow.
  • Insurance Verification & Billing Support: Confirm patient insurance coverage, process co-pays, and assist with billing inquiries.
  • Medical Records Management: Maintain and update patient demographics, pull and file medical charts, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Front Desk & Administrative Support: Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist the office manager and physicians as needed.
  • Customer Service & Patient Experience: Provide a welcoming and professional experience as the first point of contact for patients.
  • HIPAA & Compliance: Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to medical office policies and procedures.

Qualifications for the Medical Receptionist:

  • Experience: Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with NextGen or similar electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, professional, and able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Language Proficiency: Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
