Ascend Hospice is seeking a Receptionist to greet visitors, answer calls, and manage messages, mail, and scheduling support in a healthcare setting. The role requires accuracy and timely communication, with the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities include answering phones, directing inquiries, maintaining visitor logs, distributing mail and paperwork, and supporting the billing office with routine administrative tasks while upholding compassionate care standards.
Now Hiring –Receptionist
TheReceptionistis responsible for, but not limited to:
Answer the telephone in courteous manner and transfers call to the appropriate staff members.
Take accurate messages and forwards them in a timely manner.
Provide accurate directions in response to inquiries.
Maintain a current and accurate visitor's log.
Receive and distributes incoming paperwork, applications and mail quickly and completely.
Respond to any inquiries for information in a timely and thorough manner.
Accept deliveries and routes them to the appropriate departments.
Perform copying and routine filing as requested.
Distribute all mail and facsimiles to appropriate personnel.
Send outgoing mail and facsimiles as requested.
Order supplies for the corporate office and maintains inventory of basic office supplies.
Keep files and records well-organized.
Perform administrative task for billing office.
Follows verbal and written instructions accurately and in a timely manner.

Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Professional Experience:
