Job summary

DOCS Dermatology Group in Huntington, West Virginia is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join a team delivering medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services. You will greet patients, answer multi-line phones, verify insurance information, collect data, and sign patients in and out.

In this role you will perform data entry into EHR systems, schedule appointments, collect outstanding balances and copays, provide patient support, and uphold safe, secure, and compliant front-desk operations

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent certificate.
• Prior experience with medical terminology is a plus.
• Ability to learn related center tasks and assist management and physicians.
• Self-motivated to achieve high patient care and customer service standards.

Summary

Medical Receptionists directly interact with patients collecting and providing information concerning the patients' medical care. Receptionists also work closely with other staff to ensure effective communication.
