Job summary

Swish Dental is seeking a friendly front desk receptionist to join our Houston studio. You will greet patients, collect forms, verify insurance, schedule appointments, handle payments, and keep the front desk running smoothly in a patient-first environment.

Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year customer service, CPR/BLS preferred, and reliable transportation. Fluency in English and excellent phone etiquette are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, welcoming studio environment.
• Interact with individuals in the reception area.
• Assist patients with electronic intake forms.
• Collect payments and process transactions.
• Notify clinical team of patient arrival.
• Escort patients to front desk and introduce team members.
• Contact insurance companies to verify policies and coverage.
• Communicate clearly with patients to explain next steps.
• Set up patient accounts and charts for new patients.
• Maintain a team-first, patient-first attitude.
• Assist patients in scheduling appointments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, welcoming studio environment


• Interact with individuals in the reception area


• Assist patients with the completion of electronic intake forms


• Collect payments


• Notify the clinical team of patient's arrival


• Escort patients to/from the front desk and introduce them to all applicable team members


• Contact insurance companies to verify and gather pertinent policy information


• Communicate with patients clearly and efficiently


• Set up accounts and create charts for new patients

• Assist patients in scheduling appointments
