Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a Receptionist to be the welcoming face at the front desk, handling calls, directing visitors and supporting daily administrative tasks in a home health environment.

You will be part of a collaborative team, providing excellent customer service and ensuring accurate information flow. This role emphasizes organization, reliability, and a strong attention to detail in a busy clinic or office setting.

Qualifications

  • Must have high school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years as a receptionist or administrative assistant.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office programs, database software, and other office equipment a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all teams and departments.
  • Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greets visitors and serves as the first point of contact, guiding them to the correct department or person.
  • Handles a high volume of phone calls, routes messages, and relays announcements.
  • Provides information to callers and visitors.
  • Distributes job applications to scheduled candidates.
  • Manages the reception area and delivers customer service.
  • Orders and distributes office supplies.
  • Assists other administrative staff with overflow work, including mailings, faxing and data entry.

As an Elara Caring Receptionist, you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:

  • Greets visitors, serves as the first point of contact, and forwards them to the correct department and/or person in a timely manner.
  • Places, receives, and routes a high volume of calls, and relays messages/announcements.
  • Provides information to callers and visitors.
  • Distributes job applications to scheduled candidates.
  • Manages reception area and provides customer service.
  • Orders and distributes office supplies.
  • Assists other administrative staff with overflow work, including mailings, faxing and data entry.
What is Required?
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • 2+ years as a receptionist or Administrative Assistant
  • Working knowledge of the computer, including MS Office programs, database software and other office equipment a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all teams, departments within the company, and work independently
  • Ability to demonstrate organizational skills and extreme attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry is preferred

You will report to the Branch Director.
