The Animal Rescue League of Iowa is seeking a compassionate and dependable full-time Pet Care Coordinator to join our ARL Afford-a-Care Pet Clinics team. This role provides front-desk support, scheduling assistance, client communication, payment processing, and administrative support to help create a welcoming and efficient clinic experience for clients and their pets.
This is a great opportunity for someone with customer service, reception, scheduling, veterinary clinic, medical office, or administrative experience who enjoys helping people, staying organized, and being part of a mission-driven team.

The ARL Afford-a-Care Pet Clinics are part of the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, Iowa’s largest nonprofit animal welfare organization. Through the clinics, the ARL extends its mission into the community by helping pet owners access trusted, affordable veterinary care for the animals they love. There are two locations that provide pets with quality, affordable, compassionate care. We offer preventative care, on-site blood work, radiographs, and surgery all at a more affordable rate to help pets stay in loving homes.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements
This position works in a busy veterinary clinic environment and may require sitting, standing, moving throughout the clinic, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. The role may involve exposure to animal odors, animal waste, moderate noise, zoonotic diseases, cleaning products, and the possibility of bites or scratches while following established safety procedures.
