Job summary

Fairview Skilled Rehab & Nursing Home is seeking a recent graduate for a Clinical Fellowship in Speech-Language Pathology. You will conduct evaluations and treatments across speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing, while building the skills for independent practice.

Structured mentorship and collaboration with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team are provided to support your Clinical Fellowship and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Eligible for or currently holding a New York State Speech-Language Pathology license with Clinical Fellow (CF) status.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, motivated, and eager to learn.
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, residents, and families.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and team meetings.
• Complete the Clinical Fellowship under the guidance of an experienced supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
