Job summary

Southland Industries in Houston is seeking a Project Engineer to begin a career path in project management. You will work on multi-million dollar commercial MEP projects and develop skills in estimating, scheduling, and design within the design-build construction process.

The role emphasizes learning through hands-on tasks such as evaluating changes, managing change orders, procuring equipment and materials, and supporting subcontractor selection.

Qualifications

• Basic ERP skills to include inquiring, reviewing and printing job cost reports.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC or plumbing drawings.
• Basic verbal and written communications skills.
• Basic computer skills, including CADD and Microsoft Office Products, such as Excel.
• Four-year degree in Engineering, or applicable experience.
