Job summary

Midwest Veterinary Supply, Inc. is seeking aReceiving Technician I in DeForest, WI. This full-time role supports intake of veterinary medications in a mail-order environment and collaborates with Receiving Technician II to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The position involves inventory entry, receiving, and cross-functional tasks across picking, packing, and shipping to maintain timely order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of receiving, warehouse, or distribution experience.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and comply with regulated processes.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.
• Receiving experience required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing documentation.
• Inspect products for damage, lot numbers, and expiration dates.
• Assist with intake procedures for prescription medications and regulated products.
• Enter and update inventory in warehouse or pharmacy management systems.
• Label, sort, and stock inventory in appropriate storage areas.
• Maintain clean, organized receiving and storage areas.
• Assist with compliance and documentation for audits and inspections.
• Support picking, packing, and shipping to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to coordinate cycles counts and replenishment.
