Job summary

Employers Overload in Woodland, WA is hiring a Receiving Tech to organize, operate, and execute warehouse operations in line with sanitation and inventory procedures. You will safely operate a forklift, use a hand-held scanner, and verify incoming raw ingredients and shipments for accuracy.

The role requires reliability, ability to work in loud and hot environments, and the flexibility to train on day shifts before moving to night shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift heavy items and operate in a loud, hot environment.
• Reliable and punctual every day.
• Must have forklift experience and be able to ride a man lift.

Responsibilities

• Organize, operate, and execute warehouse operations in accordance with sanitation and inventory procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas daily
• Safely operate forklift
• Operate hand-held scanner and computerized inventory system for advanced inventory transactions
• Receive product from carrier (LTL and truckload) and inspect items
• Verify accuracy of all Raw Ingredients
• Staging of materials for upcoming production runs
• Perform cycle counts
• Oversee warehouse flow and report daily space and inventory/shipping issues

Job description

We are hiring for a Receiving Tech for our client in Woodland, Washington!

• Organize, operate, and execute warehouse operations in accordance with sanitation and inventory procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas daily
• Safely operate forklift
• Operate hand-held scanner and computerized inventory system for advanced inventory transactions
• Receive product from carrier both LTL and truckload. Inspect and account for all items coming into the facility
• Verify accuracy of all Raw Ingredients
• Responsible for staging all materials needed for upcoming production runs
• Perform cycle counts
• Oversee the warehouse flow and report daily the available warehouse space and any inventory/shipping issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent upon permanent hire.
• Ability to bend, stoop, push, pull and do heavy lifting.
• Reliable and on time to work each day.
• Must be able to ride man lift and have forklift experience.
• Must be able to work in a loud environment and in hot conditions.

Pay

Schedule: Monday to Thursday (will train on days and then move to night shift)
