Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Enter all deliveries into T-Box in a timely manner.
• Double check all shipments (inbound and outbound).
• Ensure UPS/FedEx packages delivered to the appropriate person.
• Fill in the shipping and receiving logs for the shift.
• Load and unload trucks as needed while ensuring daily documents are complete.
• Train on fork trucks and load trucks.
• Learn wrapping and banding of skids as needed.
• Monitor preparation of finished goods skids for shipment.
• Ensure Bills of Lading are accurate.
• Arrange truck pick-up for delivery to customers.
• Adhere to SOP-1365 Carrier Inspection – Receiving & Shipping Procedure.
• Complete Shipping Log (SHLG-1365-01) for every outgoing shipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the SHIPPING/RECEIVING TECH is responsible for the proper process of receiving products and supplies and ensuring that proper storage and distribution functions followed. Oversee finished goods picking and all product preparation for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Working to ensure all deliveries will be entered into T-Box in a timely manner.
• Double check all shipments (both inbound and outbound)
• Ensure all UPS/FedEx Packages are delivered to the appropriate personal
• Fill in the shipping and receiving logs for his shift.
• Load and unload trucks as needed but primarily ensuring all daily documents are completed correctly.
• Trained on how to use the fork trucks and load trucks.
• Learn how to wrap, and band skids as needed.
• Monitor preparation of finished goods skids for shipment
• Ensure Bills of Lading are accurate
• Arrange truck pick-up for delivery to customers
• Adheres to SOP-1365 Carrier Inspection – Receiving & Shipping Procedure
• Complete Shipping Log (SHLG-1365-01) for every outgoing shipment.
• And other duties as assigned by supervisor

Position Coverage

In the absence of Tech due to illness, vacation, appointments or injury, the warehouse manager will assign an alternate to perform the above listed position responsibilities.
