Job summary

Ollie’s Stores is seeking a Receiving Team Leader to oversee the receiving area, ensuring fast, accurate freight flow to the sales floor and proper back stock management. You will ensure safe dock operations and adherence to merchandising standards.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 6 months in a mid- to large-size retailer, with flexible scheduling including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Promote teamwork and guest service daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate tasks within deadlines.
• Positive attitude and ability to interact well with customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Plan, unload, check in, and support the merchandising of distribution shipments.
• Receive, verify, and merchandise all direct vendor shipments.
• Manage effective freight flow in the receiving area while maintaining equipment and safety.
• Adhere to company standards, verify accuracy of incoming merchandise, and set up displays.
• Prepare and process outbound transfers of merchandise and fixtures.
• Direct the work of Associates assisting with freight flow processes.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle openings/closings as assigned.
