Siemens is seeking a Receiving Lead at our Wendell, NC site to supervise all receiving activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role focuses on safe material handling, inventory accuracy, and adherence to Lean 5S principles.

You’ll train teammates, operate forklifts, and ensure SAP and RF devices are used correctly to process inbound goods. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in manufacturing receiving, forklift proficiency, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working in the receiving department of a manufacturing plant.
• 3+ years of forklift experience using reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and cherry pickers.
• Proficient in using SAP ERP systems and RF devices.
• Must be able to occasionally lift parts or sub-assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Safely operates a stand-up reach truck, stand-up order picker, and sit-down forklift in high traffic areas and narrow aisles.
• Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, inspects condition, and files damage claims with carriers.
• Maintains and manages inventory.
• Applies 5S+, Lean principles (VSM, Kaizens, Standard Work) in the team.
• Trains new employees and facilitates SAP access as needed.
