Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. is seeking a Receiving Team Leader to manage the receiving area and oversee freight flow to the sales floor. The role acts as a store keyholder and ensures processes align with visual merchandising standards while minimizing profit loss from damaged goods.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and involves coordinating staff, opening/closing duties, and ensuring timely merchandise handling with a focus on customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and delegate tasks within strict timeframes and deadlines.
• Must have a positive attitude and the ability to interact well with customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Plan, unload, check in, and support merchandising of distribution shipments.
• Receive, verify, and merchandise all direct vendor shipments.
• Manage effective freight flow in the receiving area while maintaining a safe dock area.
• Ensure accuracy of incoming merchandise and set up and design merchandise displays.
• Prepare and process outbound transfers of merchandise and fixtures as required.
• Direct the work of other Associates assisting with freight flow processes.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle opening/closing of the store.
