Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management / Logistics or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in receiving or warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment.
• At least two years of verifiable supervisor experience.
• Experience leading a team and supervising staff.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and shipping/receiving procedures.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and OSHA compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and ADP timekeeping systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily receiving activities, including unloading, inspection, and verification of incoming shipments.
• Train receiving staff to ensure compliance with policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Maintain records of received goods, discrepancies, and returns and communicate issues to relevant departments.
• Collaborate with procurement and production teams to schedule deliveries and resolve supply chain issues.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Keep receiving area organized, clean, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Prepare reports on receiving metrics and team performance for management review.
• Approve PTO requests and monitor time and attendance for direct reports.
