Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Stocker - Receiving to efficiently move and stock pallets, assist customers, and ensure accurate product placement in the Receiving department. The role involves unloading pallets, tagging, and maintaining a safe, clean work area.

You will handle loading assistance, direct customers to products, and support supervisors with proper inspections and rotation of goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Removes pallets from delivery trucks with the use of scooter or pallet/pump jack.
• Stages the pallets and merchandise so that the supervisor can perform inspections.
• Breaks down vendor pallets and separates products for different departments.
• Secures product on pallets and wraps for rotation.
• Attaches block tags with item numbers and delivery dates for identification and rotation.
• Moves pallets to designated departments.
• Keeps work area safe by handling spills and disposing of debris.
• Performs safety checks of equipment before use.
• Informs supervisor of safety concerns.
• Provides basic maintenance to equipment.
• Provides prompt, courteous, and friendly customer service.
• Assist customers with loading/off-loading and locating products.
