Responsibilities

• Removes pallets from delivery trucks using scooter or pallet/pump jack.
• Stages pallets and merchandise for supervisor inspections to meet HACCP regulations.
• Breaks down vendor pallets and allocates products to departments.
• Secures product on pallets by stocking and wrapping.
• Completes block tags with item numbers and delivery dates and attaches tags for proper identification and rotation.
• Moves pallets to designated departments.
• Keeps work area safe by cleaning spills and disposing of trash.
• Performs safety checks of equipment before use.
• Informs supervisor of safety concerns.
• Provides basic maintenance to equipment.
• Provides prompt, courteous customer service and assists customers with loading/off-loading.
