Job summary

Coastal Farm is seeking a warehouse associate to manage daily shipments, verify orders, and maintain product pricing and records. The role includes forklift-ready responsibilities, internal communications, and collaboration across departments to ensure smooth store transfers and merchandising.

Candidates should be able to adapt to changing priorities, operate a computer system and email, and contribute to housekeeping and process improvements. Full-time benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Familiar with operating a computer system and email.
• Familiar with standard retail concepts and practices.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Unload and check in UPS, FedEx, LTL, and delivery shipments daily; count, inspect, sign freight bill, report damages or shortages, log merchandise, and process purchase orders.
• Verify that purchase orders and packing slips match.
• Enter purchase orders into the computer after completion.
• Create price lists for unmarked products and manage daily transfers.
• Address questions from the home office regarding purchase orders, shortages, surpluses, and damaged products.
• Maintain forklift certification training.
• Answer incoming phone calls and maintain constant radio communication with associates.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of Coastal Farm products.
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping.
• Help in other departments when needed.
• Daily cleaning duties (vacuuming, trash replacement, sweeping).
• Other duties as assigned.
