Receiving Specialist Teammate

1st Shift Monday through Friday 7am - 3:00pm. Pay is between $20-$21/hour

Allow me to introduce you to Kutol Products Company, we are a thriving hand soap and hand sanitizer manufacturer operating out of our Silver LEED Certified facility in Sharonville, Ohio. We process and package both cosmetic and drug formulas that work with our proprietary dispensing systems across the country and beyond. We are currently seeking a Receiving Specialist Teammate to join us in our purpose of providing“Clean Hands for a Healthy World.”

At Kutol our Receiving Specialist is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming shipments and materials. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring timely processing of goods to support overall operations. The position requires collaboration with multiple departments, high attention to detail, good organization skills, and excellent communication.

The varied duties of this role allow team members to grow their skills, responsibilities of this position include:

  • Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming shipments to verify contents and ensure accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Verify required supporting paperwork is provided for deliveries, such as Certificates of Analysis (CoA’s) and Bills of Lading (BoL’s)
  • Record and document received items using Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages in an expedient manner to the appropriate personnel to ensure accurate inventory management and efficient flow of materials into the plant.
  • Properly label and tag received items for tracking and storage.
  • Collaborate with Warehouse team to ensure timely movement and storage of goods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
  • Perform to target KPIs and metrics as they relate to the position
  • Must be certified to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
  • Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with procurement, warehouse, and quality control teams.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in receiving procedures and recommend enhancements to optimize workflow efficiency.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–2 years of experience in receiving, warehouse, or inventory control preferred.

Knowledge/Skills & Abilities:

  • Basic computer skills; experience with WMS or ERP systems.
  • Experience with barcode scanners and RF devices.
  • Strong familiarity of warehouse operations and flow of goods.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Forklift certification

Physical/Mental Requirements:

  • Able to effectively focus on multiple tasks in a fast paced, noisy environment
  • Lifting/moving up to 50 pounds

Starting pay for qualified candidates is between $20-$21/hour based on experience for first shift with a review and raise after 3 months, on your one year anniversary and annually thereafter.
