Overview

Our corporate headquarters is seeking an inventory control clerk to manage the inventory control system under the supervision of the Billing Supervisor, maintain product data, rectify miscalculations, review and analyze the results of operations, report findings to management and make recommendations for improvement as necessary.

Responsibilities
  1. Review and apply inventory activities, including movements and deletions
  2. Maintain and update inventory records
  3. Ensure billing is processed for assigned branches
  4. Develop and implement efficient inventory management procedures
  5. Reconcile inventory discrepancies
  6. Assign cycle counts
  7. Perform physical inventory at least twice a year
  8. Process tax credits
  9. Report any stock issues to management and place product orders as necessary
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  1. High school diploma/GED required
  2. Some experience in inventory control

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:

  1. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  2. Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  3. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
  4. Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed
