Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our Receiving team in a manufacturing environment. You will inspect incoming materials and components, verify against drawings and purchase orders, and document results in the ERP system.

Strong attention to detail and experience with measurement tools are required. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of relevant experience. Candidates must be a U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Comfortable using computers and learning software programs.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, components and products.
• Verify materials against drawings, specifications, purchase orders, and quality requirements.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Collect and maintain related quality records.
• Use of a computer-based ERP system for data entry and inventory management.
• Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials.
• Assist in first article and sampling inspections, as requested.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities, as requested.
• Assist with audits and quality system documentation, as needed.
