Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team in the United States.

This role focuses on inspecting incoming materials, components and products to ensure they meet specified requirements, working closely with Quality, Warehouse, and Manufacturing teams. Responsibilities include using calipers, micrometers and other inspection tools, recording findings in our ERP system, identifying nonconforming items, and supporting first article and sampling inspections as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant quality inspection experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, components and products using visual, mechanical, and measurement techniques.
• Verify materials against engineering drawings, specifications, purchase orders, and quality requirements.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges and other inspection tools.
• Collect and maintain related quality records.
• Use a computer-based ERP system for data entry and inventory management.
• Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials.
• Assist in first article and sampling inspections, as requested.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities, as requested.
• Assist with audits and quality system documentation, as needed.
