Job summary

Bechtel is designing, constructing, and commissioning the Hanford Site project in Richland, WA, with a focus on material receiving inspection, testing, and documentation control.

The role reports to the Field Quality Control Manager and requires coordinating with Procurement, Construction, Engineering, suppliers, and field teams to ensure conformance to MAP/MRI, purchase orders, and project standards. Some weekend work and travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience, or 6-9 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Authorized to work in the United States without Bechtel visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Able to obtain DOE badge for Hanford Site access.
• Familiarity with codes, standards, and inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Implement quality control, procurement, and supplier quality procedures for receiving inspection.
• Maintain schedules for onsite receiving inspection activities.
• Perform inspections per plan, PO requirements, MAP/MRI, and project procedures.
• Document acceptance of materials/equipment including tests and conformance.
• Review Quality Verification Documentation packages (MTRs, NDE reports, PMIs, pressure tests).
• Maintain inspection records and project databases using standard applications.
• Monitor supplier workmanship and document nonconformances and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Construction, Engineering, suppliers, and field personnel.
• May manage M&TE and calibration activities as assigned.
