Purple Innovation, LLC in McDonough, GA is seeking a Warehouse Receiving Associate to manage the receiving process for manufacturing operations. You will inspect, count, and unload stock, record data, and coordinate with warehouse and purchasing to streamline lean receiving practices.

• Receive and count stock items and record data.
• Verify inventory against orders and investigate discrepancies.
• Store items in an orderly manner and label stock for tracking.
• Maintain clean, safe receiving areas and proper storage methods.
• Keep records of stock usage and damages; report issues to supervisors.
• Coordinate with warehouse manager and purchasing to optimize receiving processes.

This individual will coordinate with warehouse manager and purchasing in the development of lean efficient receiving practices.Job DescriptionEssential Duties & Responsibilities:Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computerVerify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errorsStore items in an orderly and accessible manner in receiving areaMark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipmentClean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulationsDetermine proper storage methods, identification, and stock locationKeep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipmentExamine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisorsTransfer of damaged or defective items or return them to designate areasRequired Skills, Education, Experience:Drive forklift in order to pick up incoming stock or to deliver parts to designated locationsMaintain records of inventories, shortages, shipments and good used or issuedIssue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitionsConfer with engineering and purchasing personnel and vendors regarding stock procurement and availabilityHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredMinimum of 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment.Physical RequirementsPhysical activities may occasionally include:Remaining in stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods of time.Adjusting or moving objects up to 15 pounds in all directions.Physical activities may constantly include:Communicating with others to exchange information.Repetitive motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of work assigned.Environmental Conditions may occasionally include:Noisy open office environmentWork Hours (Good Faith Estimate):This full-time position is expected to work approximately 30-40 hours per week.
